Audrey J. Jimenez (nee Burton), age 71, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2020 at her residence in Lorain, Ohio following a lengthy illness.
Born March 19, 1948 to John and Blanche Burton in Pennsylvania, Audrey lived in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania until moving to the Lorain area in the 1960s. She worked as a dietitian for Weber’s Healthcare Center in Wellington, Ohio until her retirement in 2018.
She loved lighthouses, including an appreciation for Thomas Kinkade’s artwork as well as playing bingo, antiquing and above all, spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Jerry Jimenez, Deborah (Jerry Dunlap) Samples, Yvonne (Gabriel) Inoa and Jason Jimenez; grandchildren, Travis, Trevor, Danny, David, Tia and Julie; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Gary, Margaret, Jack, Diane, Linda and Susan; step-children, Robert, Dawn, Yvette, Jean, Crystal and Louis as well as many step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Torres Jimenez; brother, David; sisters, Judy and Elizabeth and step-children, Jose and Amy.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
