Wanda L. Booth (nee Wilson), 73, of Lorain, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at Lake Pointe Health Center, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
Born March 1, 1938 in Huntington, W.Va., she has lived in Lorain since 1975.
Wanda worked as a registered nurse for 16 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church, Sheffield Village. She enjoyed her church, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are her daughters, Crystal Adkins of Genoa, W.Va., Teresa Booth-Davila and Casandra Booth both of Lorain; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 1994; a brother, Robert; and her parents, Robert and Estelle (nee Napier) Wilson.
Services will be held at a later date in Mason County, W.Va. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., is handling the arrangements.
