Valeria "Viola" C. Rehoreg, age 85, of Sheffield Township, died on Friday, November 5, 2004 at Elms Retirement Community, Wellington, following a lingering illness.

She was born on October 13, 1919 in Sheffield Township, Ohio, where she lived her entire life.

She was employed during World War II at Lorain Works US Steel as a test carrier in the Open Hearth Dept.

Viola was a founding member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elyria, where she was also a founding member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking and growing African Violets.

She is survived by her brother: Louis of Amherst., sisters: Wilma Smith and Katherine Dallos, both of Sheffield Twp., many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Steve and Barbara (Bodnar) Rehoreg and brother: Steve and sister: Barbara Arnoczky in 1997.

The family will receive friends on Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a 11:00 a.m. mass at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Elyria, Rev.
