Terry Lee Welser

Terry Lee Welser, age 62 of Amherst, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2025 at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Born August 11, 1962 to Lee and Wanda (nee Canter) Welser in Lorain, Terry lived in the Lorain County area his entire life. He had a passion for cars since the age of 12 which led him to work as a mechanic for 50 years.

A free spirit, Terry enjoyed fishing, loved listening to rock and roll and especially enjoyed working on cars. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife of 35 years, Rae Coleman; children, Brittany Coleman, Courtney Welser, Jade Coleman and Amanda Dehart; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Eric Welser and Bruce Welser and his sisters, Karen German and Rhonda Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents as well as his brothers, Dale Powers and Larry Powers.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists is handling the arrangements.
