Susan M. Mueller

Susan M. Mueller (nee Schabbing), age 81, of Vermilion, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, at Kingston of Vermilion.

She was born on July 13, 1944, in Lorain, Ohio. A devoted mother and cherished friend, Susan is remembered for her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family.

Throughout her career, Susan made significant contributions while working for May Company and Ford. Her professional life was marked by dedication and hard work, reflecting the values she instilled in her children.

Susan's interests were as diverse as her career. She found joy in karaoke, playing cards with friends, enjoyed fishing and boating, and always treasured the moments spent with her loved ones. Her laughter and warmth filled every room and her passion for life touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her loving children, Bret (Barb) Flaczynski, Dale (Van) Morris, Barb Flaczynski, and Suzanne Bliss; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; her sister, Kay (David) Lewandowski as well as many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and joy.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mueller; her son, Bryan Flaczynski; her sister, Beverly Schabbing; as well as her parents, Gilbert and Pauline Schabbing.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

Susan M. Mueller’s vibrant spirit and heartfelt presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives.
