Shirlene K. Davis, age 58, passed away peacefully at New Life Hospice, Lorain after a lengthy illness.
Born September 16, 1960 to Frederick J. and Shirley J. (nee Winter) Davis, Shirlene lived in Lorain her entire life. She graduated from Admiral King High School in Lorain and went on to work at Lorain Products in Lorain and Tri-Tech Medical in Avon.
Shirlene enjoyed cooking, crafting and reading. Above all, she loved her family, especially her favorite granddaughter, Maiya.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Davis; mother, Shirley Davis; granddaughter, Maiya Davis-Santiago; brothers, Joseph Davis, Steven Davis, James (Terese) Davis and Dennis (Alicia) Davis, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick J Davis; brothers, Patrick Davis and Frederick W. Davis and sister, Constance Barack.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 19 from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 20 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
