Sherry Day

Sherry Day, 57, of Elyria passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Autumn Aegis Retirement Community after battling a lengthy illness.

She was born March 3, 1963 in Elyria, Ohio. She enjoyed spending time with her family and crafting with her friends. She also loved going to church and rejoicing with the Lord. She adored her daughter, son, and grandchildren.

Miss Day is survived by her daughter Sunshine (Dan) Cahl of Elyria; son, Jeremy (Jeanne) Hummrich of Elyria; brothers, Eddie and James Sizemore both of Elyria and grandchildren Hunter, Holden, Jordan, and Jeffery. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Patricia (nee Chaffin) Sizemore.

Cremation will be done with no funeral services to be planned per family request.  Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists handled the arrangements.  Memorial contributions in Sherry’s honor may be made to New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
