Sharli Herda

Sharli (nee Adams) Herda, age 68 of Lorain, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Mercy New Life Hospice.

She was born November 8, 1953 to parents, Elbert and Julia Adams in Lorain, Ohio.  Sharli graduated from Admiral King High School with the class of 1972.  She was employed at St. Joseph Hospital in the admitting department for 20 years, then later for Lorain City Schools as a secretary for 15 years.

During retirement, she enjoyed traveling to Florida during the winter months, camping throughout the country, hiking, boating and flower gardening.

Sharli will be remembered for having a heart of gold, always mindful of other friends, children and siblings.

Surviving is her husband of 35 years, Ken Herda; children, Kenny Jr. and Brian, both of Lorain; as well as her sister, Cindy (Dennis) Delboccio of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents as well as her brothers, Stephen Adams and Eugene “Coco” Adams

At Sharli’s request, no services will be held.  Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists handled the arrangements.  The family thanks Mercy New Life Hospice for their care and prayers.
