Sandra A. Nagy (nee Doebber), 61 of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, following a sudden illness.
Born September 23, 1953 in St. Cloud, Minnesota, she grew up in Alexandria, Minn., and traveled all over the United States. In the early 1970's she moved to Cleveland and settled in Lorain in 1978.
Sandra worked as a supervisor at Atlas Technical Finishes in Lorain for 9 years, retiring in 2006. Prior to this she worked for many years as a nurse at Golden Acres Nursing Home, Amherst.
She enjoyed needle point, embroidery, crocheting and reading educational books. She also loved her pet bird.
Surviving is her daughter, Laura Mae Nagy of Lorain; a son, Nicholas Nagy of Lorain; several grandchildren; and a sister, Barb Dehne of Alexandria, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Joseph Nagy; her second husband, Virgil I. Lake; and her parents, Leo and Florence (nee Buhmann) Doebber.
