Samuel "Sam" Matyas, 68 of Lorain, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake following a long battle with cancer.
Born December 9, 1945 in Lorain, he was a life long resident of Lorain. Sam worked most of his life in the auto repair industry.
Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Patricia (nee Trentham); daughters, Samantha of Lorain, and Florence of Maumee, Ohio; 2 grandchildren; a brother and 6 sisters.
