Rosemary Orozco, age 87 of Lorain, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025 at New Life Hospice in Lorain.

She was born April 27, 1938 to the late Herbert John and Mary Rita (Diehl) Augustine.

Surviving are her children, Raymond Andrew (Rachel) Orozco, Rita Marie Orozco, Ruth Ann (James) Fitzwater, Rose Mary Guta and Regina Louise (Steven) Maxwell; 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren as well as her brothers, Herbert J. Augustine and Edward Augustine and sister, Jacqueline (Tom) Augustine Eastes.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Richard Peter Orozco; son, Richard Anthony Orozco; both of her parents as well as her brothers, James Augustine, John Augustine and a sister Helen Nardi.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Roman Catholic Parish, 2143 Homewood Drive, Lorain. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
