Guestbook

Ron was an outstanding officer of Elyria Elks Lodge 465. We had many happy times together while serving as Lodge Officers in the 70's. We actually "married" Rabbit and Diana at an informal ceremony held in a motel in Mt. Vernon, OH in 1974 or 1975. We knew that Ron and Diana were sweet on each other so we staged a mock wedding at an Elks regional meeting one weekend. Not too long afterwards, they married!! I will miss Rabbit's smile and happy, outgoing nature. He was fun to be with and we shared many memories over the years. John Earley, PER

Dear Travise family, My sister, Kelly, informed me that you have suffered another loss in you're family in such a short time. Our hearts are heavy and go out to you missing my cousin Ronnie...your brother, dad, grandpa, uncle and friend. We were sorry to hear that he suffered a lengthy illness and did not get to enjoy his retirement very long (as I remember the same thing happened to my dear Aunt Eleonore). I wish our families would have been closer and visited more often. My husband Greg and I also have grandchildren, named Dominick and Jackson, also brothers. I think the last time I saw Ronnie was at the Elks club with my mom and Joe. He was always nice and kind to me and always had a smile to share. I only wish I lived closer so I could attend the service on Friday but my thoughts and prayers will be on you're family. Please lean on God's big shoulders and His word to help you through. Love, hugs, and prayers, Greg and Marilyn Wert and family of Valparaiso, IN.

Prayers to the family. Ron was a wonderful friend; he was kind and funny, caring and supportive. Although I haven't seen him since high school days, I will always cherish that friendship.
