Roberto "Bedo" Agosto

Roberto “Bedo” Agosto, age 56, of Lorain, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Lake Pointe Health Center, Lorain, following a six-month illness.

Born July 4, 1964 in Lorain, he lived in Lorain his entire life and graduated from Admiral King High School in 1983.

Bedo worked in the produce department at Fligner’s Market in Lorain for a year.  He was member of the Salvation Army in Lorain where he was a Red Kettle worker from 2016-2019 and also helped with food distributions and Christmas functions.  Bedo loved to draw, cook, listen to classic rock music and was always ready to help out when he could.

Surviving is his daughter, Amanda Noel (Matt) Howell of Foley, Alabama; granddaughters, Gabby Agosto and Raegan Howell; grandson, Tommy Noel; parents, Raul Sr. and Maria Agosto of Lorain; brother, Raul (Diane) Agosto Jr.; sisters, Maggie Agosto and Sarita Agosto; nephew, Matt Agosto and nieces, Melissa Marrero and Selina Agosto-Crum.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:30 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Salvation Army Captain Jimmy Susa, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bedo's honor can be made to The Salvation Army, 2506 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052.
