Robert Stanchak

Robert "Bub" Stanchak, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on October 26, 2025, in Westlake, Ohio, at the age of 63. 

Born on June 13, 1962, in Lorain, Ohio, Robert was a lifelong resident of Sheffield Township and dedicated his life to both his family and his profession, culminating in a fulfilling career as a Plant Manager at P.C. Campana, where he worked diligently for 40 years before retiring in June 2025.

A proud graduate of Clearview High School, Class of 1980, Robert remained devoted to his roots in Lorain throughout his life. He was an active member of AMVETS Post 47, where he found camaraderie and friendship. In addition to his work and community involvement, Robert was a passionate football fan, holding a special fondness for Ohio State University football. His enthusiasm for sports was matched only by his love for vacationing and creating cherished memories with his family.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his children, TJ McFadden, Kelli (Larry) Justice, and Kym (Darius) Thompson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Patricia Koziura. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dimitri "Jim" and Roberta Stanchak, and his siblings: Donald, Michael, James, and Stephanie Stanchak.

Visitation will be held on November 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Dovin Funeral And Cremation Specialists, located at 2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055.
