Robert "Bob" Hill

Bob Hill, age 79, of Lorain, Ohio, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 5th, 2025.

He was born on May 29th, 1946, to Earl and Doris Hill. He was a lifelong resident of Lorain.

Bob will be fondly remembered for his love of dogs, playing the Pick 3 and Pick 4 lottery, his stubborn spirit, his sense of humor, his smile, and his fondness for cookies.

He is survived by his loving other half of more than 30 years, Laetta Parsons, whom he affectionately referred to as his “wife-to-be.” He also leaves behind his brothers, Bill, De, and Joey; his sisters, Kathy Geisel and Jane Hill; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Albert Pruchinski; his brothers, David (1950) and Albert Jr. (2024); his sister, Diane Carter (2024); and two beloved brothers-in-law, Gary Geisel (2013) and Joe Arizmendi (2018), with whom he missed dearly.

In a heartfelt tribute from his niece: “Rest easy, Uncle Bob, you're reunited with my dad and Joe Mama now. “Have a good night.” “I love you.” “Love you too.”

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, September 13th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Dovin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
