Richard Skolnicki

Richard A. "Todd" Skolnicki, 90, of Amherst, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, at the Apostolic Christian Nursing Home in Rittman.

Todd was born on May 12, 1936, in Lorain, Ohio and was a 1954-B Graduate of Lorain High School where he was a 3-year letterman in baseball. After high school he spent a decade playing fast pitch softball and was a member of the Old Dutch, Big 8 League and the Lorain Glass, Lorain City League Championship teams. He worked as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local Union 129. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed watching baseball and attending car shows with his 1954 Ford Victoria.

He is survived by his children Kip (Michele), Sue (Terry) Green, Mike (Ingrid), Brian (Amy), Beth Francisco and Todd (Jen); brother, Joe of Florida and his partner Betty Bradbury; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Claire (Petrosky) Skolnicki; sister Marlene (Mike) Ferraro and brother Ed (Barb) Skolnicki.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, Lorain, handled the arrangements.
