Ray Anthony Garcia

Ray Anthony Garcia, a lifelong resident of Lorain, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly following a short illness on September 14, 2026, in Lorain. He was born on April 5, 1977, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Ray was a man who found joy in the people and simple pleasures that meant the most to him. He loved spending time with friends and family, and those gatherings and shared moments were an important part of his life. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, and he treasured the companionship of his beloved dog, Mini Mouse.

Above all, Ray’s family was central to his life. He is survived by his sons, Connor, Xavier, Tristan, Gabriel, and Griffin; and by his daughters, Cheyenne, Katelyn, Magdalena, Tressa, Abigail and Lila. He is also survived by his mother, Antoinette "Toni" White (and her partner, Kathryn Shut); his brothers, Freddy Garcia Jr., and Anthony Garcia; and his sisters, Selena Garcia, Chana Linville, Myisha Conley, and Lori Garcia as well as his aunt Sarah Leatherwood and many friends that he thought of as his own family. They, along with his many friends and all who knew him, will carry his memory forward with love.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Freddy Garcia; his birth mother, Lou Ann Garcia; and his aunt, Nora Gruber. Their memories remained a lasting part of his family’s story and of the life he shared with those closest to him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 26, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Venue 939, 939 Broadway, Lorain, Ohio 44052.

Ray will be remembered for the time he shared with those he loved, for the happiness he found in being surrounded by family and friends, and for the lasting place he holds in their hearts.
