Raquel Guzman

Raquel M. Guzman, age 50, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Mercy Regional Medical Center following her courageous battle with a lengthy illness.

Born September 18, 1975, in Lorain, Raquel lived her entire life in Lorain. She graduated from Admiral King and later went on to work at May Credit and also T.J. Maxx.

She loved music, movies, rescuing animals and spending time with her cats.

Surviving are her parents, Pedro and Evelyn (nee Diaz) Guzman; many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her cats, Twix and Hershey.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Pedro and Crucita Guzman as well as her maternal grandparents, Juan and Iris Diaz.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
