Peggy L. Carrion

Peggy L. Carrion (nee Commerford) age 63, passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2022 at her residence in Lorain, Ohio.

Born July 14, 1958 in Lima, Ohio, Peggy spent most of her life in Lorain.  She graduated from Lorain High School in 1977. 

For many years she enjoyed playing bingo and loved listening to music and watching soap operas. 

Surviving are her children, Paul Carrion, Mark Carrion and Jessica Carrion all of Lorain, 12 grandchildren; sisters, Jodi Commerford, Brenda Bumgardner, Linda Commerford, Marsha Earls, Patty Johnson; and a brother, Gary Commerford.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Oscar Carrion; son, Ernesto Carrion in 2014; parents, Jack and Peggy (nee Gray) Commerford as well as her sister, Barbara Commerford.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 15 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.  Rev. Lorri Bandagski will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
