Paul Edwards

Paul Edwards, age 88, of Sheffield Lake, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 10, 1932 in Lorain and graduated from Lorain High School Class of 1950B. Paul was employed at Lorain Products as supervisor of shipping and receiving until his retirement in 1997.

Paul enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. As a member of PLAV Post-38, he enjoyed winning at poker and participated in area bowling tournaments. Paul was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and Browns, and loved to be at home with family watching the game. He will be fondly remembered for his quick-witted sense of humor.

Paul is survived by his son, Paul (Denise) Edwards; daughter Annemarie (Mike) Nosse; grandchildren, Collin, Cole and Cameron; and sister, Kay. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Marion (nee Finnerty) in 2018; son, Hugh Edwards; parents, Paul and Lillian (nee Lighthizer) Edwards; and sisters, Darla and Phyllis. 

No visitation or service will be held. Arrangements were handled by Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialist, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
