Patricia Jo Teter-Donaldson

Patricia Jo Teter-Donaldson, lovingly known as "Patty," passed away suddenly on June 1, 2026, in Elyria, Ohio, at the age of 60. 

Born in West Virginia on March 24, 1966, Patty later made North Ridgeville and eventually Elyria, Ohio, her home. She attended Elyria West High School and dedicated much of her life to being a mother to her three children. She was also known as "Aunt Patty" to many and loved her family, friends, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild deeply. 

Patty was a free spirit who loved rock music, especially Axl Rose, Ozzy Osbourne, and her favorite song, "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. She enjoyed reminiscing about the good old days, had a heart full of forgiveness, and touched many lives with her honesty, humor, and kind nature. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Teter and Thelma "Daisy" Teter, and her sister, Carolyn Teter. 

Patty leaves behind her daughter, Jolean Donaldson; her two "baby boys," William Donaldson and Robert Donaldson; grandchildren Amaree Donaldson, Robert "DJ" Donaldson, Bishop Crosby, Fabien Donaldson, Joseph Donaldson, and Jax Donaldson; great-grandchild Chosen Donaldson; her sister, Barbara Teter; her brother, Michael Teter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends who will miss her dearly. 

In accordance with Patty's wishes, she was cremated. There will be no funeral services. 

The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life in the near future. 

The family would like to thank everyone who loved Patty and shared in her journey throughout her life. Your love, friendship, and memories are deeply appreciated and will never be forgotten.
