Patricia Reynolds

Patricia A. “Pat” Reynolds (née Archie), age 82, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 2, 2026.

She was born in Ironton, Ohio, on May 7, 1943, to William B. and Dora B. (nee Gumbert) Archie. She moved to Lorain in the late 1940s.

Pat worked as a nurse’s aide at Mercy Hospital in Lorain for 13 years, retiring in the early 1990s. Prior to that, she worked as a waitress and on the sales floor of Faroh’s Candy.

Pat loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, traveling, ceramics, bingo, and crocheting.

Surviving are her sons, Jeffrey E. (Nancy) Reynolds of Goldsboro, NC. And Steven A. (Rose) Reynolds of Alburn, IN; grandchildren, Devin, Bradley, and Kaleb; great-grandchildren, Avaiya, Greyson, and Raelyn; and a sister, Peggy Howard of Albuquerque, NM.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Shirl E. Reynolds, in 2012, and brothers, Charles Archie and Bill Archie.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
