Patricia treasured and closely guarded her family, and her love for the Orthodox faith was unwavering. As a devoted choir member, she met the love of her life, Michael. They were married on June 12, 1960, and she was warmly welcomed into the family of Michael (Mane) and Martha Ralich, whom she lovingly called Mom and Dad from that day forward. During their first year of marriage, they lived with Baba (Bosiljka) Ralich, sharing her companionship and the abundant love she shared with them.
Martha took her under her wing, teaching her the joys of cooking and baking skills that became a cherished part of her life. In later years, she lovingly returned that care, serving as a devoted and compassionate caretaker to both of them.
Patricia's greatest pride was her daughter, Rebecca, with whom she shared countless cherished experiences-days at Shadeland Camp, afternoons spent swimming, ballet recitals, and a shared love of fashion and shopping. She always referred to her son-in-law as "my Bill." He was her Virgo Ali, and they shared a truly special bond that ran deep and was tenderly cherished in her heart.
Patricia was a devoted and faithful member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church in Lorain. She volunteered alongside family members with the Mary Lee Tucker Clothe-A-Child Program and generously supported St. Herman's House of Hospitality. She was the heart behind family vacations, thoughtfully planning each one, and she deeply enjoyed traveling near and far with Michael, creating lasting memories together.
Patricia is survived by her lifelong love, her husband, Michael; her daughter, Rebecca (William) Spak; her siblings Denis (Geri) Reynolds, Linda (Louis) Vida, Joyce (Steve) Moran, Bob Coteff, and Steve Coteff. She is also survived by an abundance of loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Coteff; her father, Robert Coteff; and her beloved Mom and Dad, Michael (Mane) and Martha Ralich; her grandparents, Svetco and Velma Coteff; brother-in-law, David; sisters-in-law, Marsha Ralich and Martha Coteff; along with many treasured family members.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 am at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Orthodox Church, 3056 Reeves Avenue in Lorain. Rev. Fr. Paul G. Monkowski will officiate. Private interment will take place at St. Theodosius Cemetery, Brooklyn, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Sts. Cyril & Methodius Orthodox Church, 3056 Reeves Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44053, or to St. Herman House, 4410 Franklin Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44113.
