Milagros Madera, age 73 of Lorain, died on Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at Lorain Manor Nursing Home, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
Born on December 24, 1930 in Penuelas, Puerto Rico, she came to Lorain in the 1950s. Milagros enjoyed playing bingo and fishing.
She is survived by her sons: Harvey Velasquez, Harold Velasquez, both of Lorain, Karl Velasquez, of Kansas, Florantonio Jr. of Lorain, Filipe Madera, of Lorain, daughters: Edna Velasquez, of Lorain, Jacqueline Velasquez, of Louisville, KY, Caroline Velasquez, of Humacuo, PR, Angie Torres, of Chandler, AZ, Madeline Madera, of Lorain, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Iglesia De Dios, M.B. Casa De Refugio, 2543 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
