Miguel Angel Rivera Andujar, age 52, of Lorain, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026, at his residence while under the care of Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
Born on September 23, 1973, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, he moved to Lorain in 2025. While living in Puerto Rico, Miguel worked as a machine operator for Reliable Equipment in Dorado.
Miguel was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel in Lorain. His number one priority and greatest love were his family. He had a passion for boating and fishing and enjoyed handyman projects and mechanics, with the ability to build anything he set out to accomplish.
Surviving is his loving wife of 16 years, Evelyn Marquez; his children, Evelyn Garcia, Arami Rivera, Miguel Rivera, Angel Garcia, and Corlis Garcia; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Justina Andujar; and his brothers, Euginio Rivera, Gilbert Rivera and Josean Rivara; and his sisters, Maria Rivera and Junita Rivera.
He was preceded in death by his father, Providencio Rivera.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 8:30 am until the time of Mass at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Alex Spenik will officiate. Following Mass, Miguel will be flown back to San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.
