Michael Patterson, beloved father and brother, passed away on December 27, 2025, in Carlisle Township, Ohio. He was born on February 20, 1962, in Lorain, Ohio, and spent his formative years in this vibrant community, embracing every opportunity to nurture his interests and relationships.
Michael graduated from Admiral King in 1980, laying the groundwork for a fruitful career. He dedicated many years to his profession at the Industrial District of Operations at MPW Industrial Services. His commitment to his work was matched only by his love for family, reflecting the values instilled in him throughout his life.
In addition to his professional achievements, Michael proudly served in the United States Navy, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him the virtues of duty and service. His life was a rich tapestry of hobbies and interests; he found joy in model trains, rockets, gaming, fishing, and electronics, as well as an enthusiasm for all kinds of drones. A loyal supporter of the Miami Dolphins, Michael often engaged family and friends in spirited discussions about the team, showcasing his passion for sports.
He leaves behind his cherished children, William Casner, Michael Patterson, and Candie Casner as well as 3 grandchildren, who carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and resilience. His siblings, Jessie Patterson and Charlene Dellipoala, fondly remember him as a caring brother whose presence brought warmth and laughter to their lives. Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine Patterson, and his parents, Thomas and Joyce Patterson, whose love and guidance shaped him into the man he became.
A graveside service with Military Honors to honor Michael's memory will be held on January 9, 2026, at Evergreen Cemetery in South Amherst, Ohio. Friends and family are invited to gather at 11:00 AM,, to pay tribute to a man who deeply impacted the lives of those around him.
Michael Patterson will be remembered not only for his achievements and passions but also for the love he shared with his family and friends, which will forever resonate in their hearts.
