Michael R. Colon

Michael Reinaldo Colon, age 47, stepped into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior on April 30, 2022 surrounded by his family at his residence in Lorain, Ohio after a short battle with cancer.  He will be dearly missed and always remembered by his sweet smile and big dimples as well as his soft heart.

Born January 23, 1975 to Reinaldo and Sylvia (nee Hernandez) Colon in Lorain, Michael spent his entire life in Lorain.

He loved being outdoors, camping, fishing, listening to music, riding his golf cart and enjoyed a nice campfire surrounded by his friends and family.

Surviving is his wife, Julie (nee Czerkas) Colon; children, Michael Colon and Breanna Colon; mother, Sylvia (nee Hernandez) Colon; siblings, Tony, Albert, Joey, Chris, Carissa and Raymond.

He was preceded in death by his father, Reinaldo Colon.

Visitation will be held, Thursday, May 5 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Rev. Gilbert Silva of House of Praise will officiate.  Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
