Maxine V. Golini (nee Staller), age 82, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2020 at Life Care Center of Westlake, in Westlake, Ohio.
Born March 3, 1937 in Lorain, Ohio to Matthew and Mary (nee Starec) Staller, Maxine lived in Lorain her entire life. She graduated from Clearview High School in 1955 and went on to work as a bookkeeper. Later she worked as a hostess at Chris’s Restaurant until her retirement in 1996. She was also a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she helped in the Children’s Ministries, Ladies Missionary Fellowship and Hospitality Committee.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, puzzles, gardening as well as family activities and taking long walks.
Surviving are her children, Linda (Jon) Williams, Michael Hazzard and Lori Hazzard as well as 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her brother, Donald Staller.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Rocco V. Golini, both parents as well as her brother, Gerald Staller.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 31 from 4 – 8 P.M. in the Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1 at 10 A.M. in the funeral home. Rev. Orlando Collazo of Fellowship Baptist Church will officiate.
