Mary C. "Tina" Vancs

Mary C. “Tina” Vancs, age 67, of Sheffield Village, entered eternal life on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her residence following a short illness.

Born December 18, 1954, in Lorain, she moved to Sheffield Village and graduated from Brookside High School in 1973.

Tina was a member of the former St. Basil Byzantine Catholic Church, Lorain, and attended St. Francis Cabrini Parish, Lorain.  She was a very loving and devoted caregiver to her family.

Surviving is her husband of 15 years, Nicholas “Nick” George.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Emil L. Vancs in 2007, Eva V. (nee Ignatowicz) Vancs in 2004; and her brother, Richard E. Vancs in 2016.

A private family service will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
