Mary C. "Tina" Vancs
Mary C. “Tina” Vancs, age 67, of Sheffield Village, entered eternal life on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her residence following a short illness.
Born December 18, 1954, in Lorain, she moved to Sheffield Village and graduated from Brookside High School in 1973.
Tina was a member of the former St. Basil Byzantine Catholic Church, Lorain, and attended St. Francis Cabrini Parish, Lorain. She was a very loving and devoted caregiver to her family.
Surviving is her husband of 15 years, Nicholas “Nick” George.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Emil L. Vancs in 2007, Eva V. (nee Ignatowicz) Vancs in 2004; and her brother, Richard E. Vancs in 2016.
A private family service will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
Contributions in her memory can be made to any local hospice organization.
Nick, I am so sorry for your loss. Tina always had a smile, was always friendly. She will be missed. Sending prayers and hugs.

After the first time I met her, she brought me this beautiful ring and said it was meant for me!

My Dearest Friend Tina may you rest in peace. We have been friends for over 30 years. I sure will miss you and also our long conversations I will always cherish our memories of you. You were such a beautiful good friend.
