Mary Mihelich

Mary Mihelich (nee Pazder) age 101, of Lorain, died on Monday, September 20, 2004 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on April 20, 1903 in Pozeml, Belokranja, Slovenia. She moved to this area from Slovenia in 1922 where she lived most of her life.
She enjoyed gardening and reading.
Mary was a member of the Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church and was a member of the American Slovenian Catholic Union (K.S.K.J.) since 1923. She was also a life member of the Slovenian Womens Union of America.
She is survived by her daughter: Lillian Keron, of Lorain, 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years: Aloysis (Louis) in 1968, parents; Michael Padzer and Mary (nee Strauss) Padzer, daughters: Marie Javor in 1984 and Eleanore Stursa in 1990, son: Robert in 2003.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 9:30 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, E31st St. and Globe Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr Paul Krajnik, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
