Mary Krasula

July 18, 1928 — September 9, 2018

Mary Evelyn Krasula (nee Foster) age 90, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village in Lorain. She was born July 18, 1928 in Glen Morgan, West Virginia to the late Owen and Edith (nee Fritz) Foster.
Mary worked as a machine operator at Erico Products in Cleveland for over 15 years. After moving to Florida she provided daycare for many, many children in her home for more than 25 years. She was most definitely family orientated and enjoyed keeping in touch with all of her relatives. Mary made friends wherever she went and everyone most definitely remembered her animated stories. She was always there to lend a hand if any friend or family member needed it. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, telling stories, laughing with family, and loved to watch movies old and new but especially westerns. Mary lived in Alaska, Germany, the Carolina's, Ohio, Florida and spent many years with family in Nebraska before moving closer to her granddaughters in Lorain, Ohio.
Surviving are her sons, J. Richard Gosnell of Lincoln, Nebraska and Gary K. Gosnell of Cincinnati; 9 grandchildren: Tami (John) Klimpel of Lincoln, Nebraska, Carrie (Michael) Herndon of Maryland Heights, Missouri, Ken (Carrie) Gosnell of Des Moines, Iowa, Maggie (Tom) Hansell of Ankeny, Iowa, Katie (Nick) Flury of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mark Gosnell and Luke Gosnell of Boston, Massachusetts, Jennifer Gosnell and Mellisa Gosnell of Lorain, Ohio; 15 great grandchildren; and a sister, Kathy Linksweiler.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Gosnell and her second husband, Ralph Krasula; her youngest sons, Larry Gosnell and Michael Gosnell; and her siblings, Junior, Bob, Helen and Kenny.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
