Margaret A. Staszak, (nee Gradish) age 91, of Lorain, died on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Mill Manor Nursing Home, Vermilion, following a brief illness.
She was born on November 29, 1918 in Calumet, PA.
Margaret was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church. She was also a member of St. Ann's Lodge.
She is survived by her son, Steve P. Staszak, of Lorain; daughters; Elizabeth "Betty" Dabrowski, of Florida and Susan Smith, of Lorain, 8 grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters; Elizabeth Osko, of Florida and Mary Dembinski, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Steve, in 1990; sisters; Elsie Gradish and Agnes Garcia, brothers; John, Ray and Paul, and her parents; Paul and Elizabeth M. (nee Berdak) Gradish.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 3, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. A Divine Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 2711 w. 40th Street, Lorain. Rev. Fr. Nicholas Rachford, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
