Linda Humphrey, a beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on October 4, 2023, in Elyria, Ohio. Linda was born on June 2, 1981, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Fred and Beverly (nee Mielcarek) Gleba.
Linda attended North Ridgeville Highschool before starting her journey as a stay-at-home mom. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a loving and caring home for them. Linda's love for her children was immeasurable, and she took pride in being their rock and support system.
Aside from being a devoted mother, Linda had many hobbies and interests that brought her happiness. She enjoyed karaoke nights where she could showcase her incredible voice and bring smiles to those around her. Camping trips allowed Linda to connect with nature and create lasting memories with her loved ones. Her passion for cooking brought warmth to gatherings with family and friends as they savored the delicious meals she prepared with love.
Linda's kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of so many. She always had a listening ear and offered words of comfort and encouragement to anyone who needed it. Her presence was like a warm embrace that made people feel safe and loved.
The memory of Linda will forever be cherished by all who knew her. Linda will be deeply missed by her children: Allysia Leap, Taylor Tanner, Dustin Leap, Michael Humphrey Jr., as well as her sisters: Elizabeth Hoops, Helen Hyer, Anne Gleba, Rebecca Harley, Debra Roush, Karen Gleba, Mary Gleba, Denise Gleba Connie Yamek, and Carol Modrak and a brother, John Holop. In addition to her immediate family members, Linda leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
To honor and celebrate Linda's life, visitation services will take place on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists located at 2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055. A memorial service will then follow at the same location at 7:00 P.M. This will be a time for family and friends to come together, share stories of their cherished memories, and find solace in each other's presence.
