Laurie E. Rorrer (nee Hill), age 81, of Lorain, died on Monday, July 6, 2009, at Community Health Partners HSC-West, Lorain.
She was born on November 2, 1927 in Cosby, TN. She also lived in Baltimore, MD, before moving to Cleveland in 1951. Laurie retired from American Brass, in Cleveland. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Laurie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Carl, daughter, Lasheliea (William R.) Boone, of Lorain, brother, Jim (Louellen) Hill, of Gastonia, NC, grandchildren; William H. (Krista) Boone, Danielle P. (Alberto) Rivera, Kenneth P. (Sarah) Boone and Michael Boone, great grandchildren; Kimberly Dindino, Alisha, William H., Jr., and Catherine Boone, Marecciea, Madalyn, and Molina Rivera, Leta and Derek Boone and one great great grandson, Joshua Dindino.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Worley, a great granddaughter, Mallory Rivera, and her parents; Dewey and Mary (nee Flood) Hill.
The family held private services. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, handled arrangements.
