Kenneth Lee Bennett Sr.

Kenneth Lee Bennett Sr., of Lorain, Ohio, passed away on October 28, 2026, in Bay Village. He was born on December 27, 1954, in Lorain, Ohio.

Kenneth will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by the family who shared in his life. He enlisted in the Marine Corp and served from 1974 to 1976. He also enjoyed trains, guns, knives, and had a special love for eagles.

He is survived by his children, Barbara L. (Ramon) Hernandez Jr., Kenneth L. Bennett Jr., and Heidi A. Bennett; his grandchildren, Corrissa Hernandez, Jacob Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez III, Dominick Hernandez, Mackenzie Hernandez, Serenitie Hernandez, Geneva Hernandez, Leighlani Hernandez, Celia Gonzalez, and Angelo Gonzalez; and his great-grandchildren, Avery Stottlemire, Liam Kelly, and Larime Kelly as well as his brother, Henry L. Bennett Jr. and his sister, Norma Bissett. He will be deeply missed by each of them and remembered as an important part of their family.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Henry Bennett Sr.; his mother, Annetta Tahya; and his sister, Joyce Tenorrio.

Private services were held.  Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists handled the arrangements.
