It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Juan Vargas Cotto, whose life was marked by hard work, dedication, and a gift for craftsmanship, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Juan had a passion for working on cars, and his trade skills and craftsmanship were like no other. He took pride in every detail, whether fixing cars or building with his hands. His talents followed him wherever he went, including the upkeep and repairs of his beloved church.
Juan was a faithful member of Templo Emmanuel in Lorain, Ohio, where his love for the Lord was evident through his service in the media ministry. He gave of his time and abilities generously, ensuring that the church remained a place of excellence and care. His faith was not only something he professed, but also something he lived through in his acts of service and kindness.
Those who knew Juan will remember him for his gentle spirit, his integrity, and his willingness to help anyone in need. His legacy is carried not only in the work of his hands but in the love and encouragement he shared with family, friends, and his church community.
For the past 15 years, Juan has been a dedicated and hard-working employee at Protech Powder Coating in Strongsville, Ohio.
