Jose R. Torres

Jose R. "Pachy" Torres, age 61, of Lorain, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013, at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain.
He was born on January 7, 1952 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, moving to Lorain 33 years ago. He was the owner of Alliance Upholstery for 29 years. Jose was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed computers and woodwork.
Jose is survived by his son, Jose R. "Billy" (Jennifer), of Collins, OH, 2 granddaughters; Paloma and Natalia, brothers; Jose A. "Billy", Jose O. "Pepe", and Jose D. "Chilin", all of Lorain, Jose R. "Papo", Jose F. "Pipe", Jose V. "Vitito", and Jose A. "Concho", all of Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, and sisters; Ruthiris E. "Tatita" Torres Cruz, of Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, Lester R. "Cuchy", Genara L. "Gorda", Lizzette "Lizzy", Carmen D. "Deliris", and Sandra, all of Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Jackie Almodovar.
He was preceded in death by a son, Sammy Torres, and his parents; Jose A. and Iris M. (nee Cruz) Torres.
