Jose L. Carrion Jr.

Jose Luis Carrion Jr., age 47, of Lorain, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital following a lengthy illness

Born November 27, 1974, in Lorain, he lived in Lorain his entire life.  He attended Lorain Admiral King High School and worked for KTS Met-Bar Products in Lorain as a CNC operator for 20 years.

Jose enjoyed woodworking and skate boarding.

Surviving are his children, Ian of Parma, Ella, Lyla, Juda and Maya all of Georgia; parents, Jose L. Sr. and Shirley “Becky” (nee Comstock) Carrion Sr. of Lorain; and a sister, Letitia Carrion of Lorain.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jose J. and Francisca (nee Garcia) Carrion; and maternal grandparents, Russel and Zella (nee Heckert) Comstock.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held Friday, April 15 at 9:30 a.m.  Rev. Jason Jackson will officiate.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
