Jo Ann Nolan

Jo Ann A. Nolan (nee Workman), 71, of Lorain, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at The Woods of French Creek, Avon, following a lengthy illness.
Born January 24, 1945 in Louisa, Kentucky, she lived in Cleveland before coming to Lorain. She graduated from West Tech High School in Cleveland.
Jo Ann worked as a secretary for the State of Ohio for 26 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Lorain. She loved Elvis Presley and collecting Angels.
Surviving is her daughter, Susie Nolan of Lorain; daughter in law, Debbie Threet of Lorain; James Workman of West Virginia, Gary Workman of Southern Ohio, Dana Workman of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1996; parents, Joe and Lucille (nee Jarrell) Workman; and a brother, Greg Workman.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday for 4:00 - 7:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am. Rev.
