Jeffrey Medina

Jeffrey Medina, age 62, of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Lake Pointe Health Center, Lorain, following a seven year battle with Alzheimer’s.

Born November 10, 1958 in Lorain, he has lived in Lorain his entire life.  Jeff graduated from Southview High School in 1978 and worked construction in the Lorain area.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain.  Jeff loved riding his bike, listening to music and dancing, going to the beach and was a dog lover.  He was a great uncle to his nephews and nieces.

Surviving is his brother, Jesse Medina of Lorain; sisters, Jacqueline Korenek of Orlando, Florida and Laura Moreno of Denver, Colorado; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Jesus “Chu Chu” Medina in 2010 and mother, Margaret “GG” (nee Baraty) Medina in 2012.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  The family will also receive friends on Saturday, January 30th from 8:30 am until the time of mass at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain.
