Isabel M. Figueroa

Isabel M. Figueroa (nee Medina), age 77, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Isabel was born in San Tulse, Puerto Rico on February 18, 1939. She moved to Lorain in 1961.
She was a member of the Temple Emmanuel Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to church.
Isabel is survived by her children, Criselle Figueroa-Beverick of Yuma, AZ, Luis R. Figueroa, Jr., Noel Figueroa, Mirinit Velez, Marisol Figuero-Heath, all of Lorain and Jose V. Figueroa of Queens, NY, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, sisters, Magdalena Feliciano of Pasaic, NJ, Awilda Bracero of Lorain, brother, Luis Ramon Medina-Mojica of Aguadilla, PR.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Luis R. Figueroa in 1999, parents, Ramon Luis Medina and Emilia (nee Mojica) Medina, sisters, Rosa Maria Medina-Mojica and Emilia Medina - Mojica, brothers, Angel Medina-Mojica, Jose Medina-Mojica and William Medina-Mojica.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Templo Emmanuel Church, 4230 Clinton Avenue, Lorain where services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
