Irene O'Keefe

Irene S. O'Keefe (nee Ribnikar) age 90, of Lorain, passed away Friday, February 23, 2017 at her residence while under the care of Mercy New Life Hospice, following a short illness.
Born in Beccaria, PA, she came to Lorain in 1953 where she has lived since.
Irene was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sewing. She especially loved to read the Bible.
Surviving is her husband of 72 years, Patrick; sons, Patrick Jr. (Linda) of Wellington, Dennis (Debbie) of Moscow, PA, Larry of Lorain, Kevin (Jill) of New Russia Twp and Brian of Sheffield Village; daughters, Bridget O'Keefe of Lorain and Maureen O'Keefe of Belews Creek, N. Carolina; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tim and Anna Ribnikar; a daughter, Cheryl Ann; and 8 siblings.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 am. Rev.
