Hector Sierra, age 71, of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Mercy New Life Hospice residential center following a lengthy illness.
Born January 12, 1946 in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, he has lived in Lorain for most of his life.
Hector enjoyed playing Bolita and bingo.
Surviving is his sister, Isabel Sierra of Lorain; brothers, Darnell Garcia, Juan Sierra, Hector Sierra and Eugene Garcia; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eladio and Hipolita (nee Garcia) Sierra.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp. To send online condolences go to www.dovinfcs.com.
