Gladys Lamboy, (nee Diaz), age 49 of Lorain, died Saturday, August 6, 2005 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center from injuries sustained in an auto accident in London, Kentucky.
She was born on March 21, 1956, in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, she came to Lorain to live 33 years ago. During that time she had resided in Amherst for 5 years.
Gladys enjoyed driving tucks, sewing, crocheting, interior decorating, traveling, and spending winters at their home in St. Cloud, Florida.
Surviving is her husband of 35 years, Roberto Lamboy; son, Roberto Lamboy Jr. of St. Cloud, Florida; 3 daughters, Lisabeth Lamboy of Lorain, Jacqueline Lamboy of St. Cloud, Florida, and Jasmine Vasquez of Lorain; her parents, Victor and Antonia (nee Gonzalez) Diaz, of Kissimmee, FL, brothers, Victor Diaz Jr. of Kissimmee, Florida, Albert Diaz of Lorain, and Edwin Diaz of Lorain; sisters, Irma Cruz of Kissimmee, Florida, Sonia Hall of Lorain, Carmen Bosley of Lorain, Reina Ramos of Lorain, and Eda Bauza of Lorain.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
