George L. Gonzalez, age 59, of Sheffield Lake, died on Friday, August 5, 2005 at the Cleveland Clinic, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on February 24, 1946 in Manati, Puerto Rico, he lived in Lorain for 50 years.
He had attended Admiral King High School.
George enjoyed playing pool and fishing.
He is survived by many children, grandchildren and a brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Juan and Gloria (nee Rivera) Gonzalez.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Mark Hebebrand, youth pastor of House of Praise International Church, will officiate.
The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
