Flora Vineda Patterson

Flora Vineda Patterson (nee Hale), age 79, of Lorain, died on Friday, June 17, 2005 at Community Health Partners HSC- West, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on August 11, 1925 in Morgan, Alabama before moving to Lorain in 1949. She was a member of Christian Life Church, Lorain.
She was a avid collector of antique glassware, angels, flowers, especially pink roses. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, home decorating and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Hiriam, son: Armond "Ricky" of Lorain, daughter: Linda K. Shullick, of Lorain, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, sister: Audrey Dunlap, of Bessemer, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her son: Robert Allen Patterson in 2004, parents: Wiley Hale in 1951 and mother: Sarah Ann Hale in 1976 and brothers: Lenard Hale in 1951 and James Hale in 1980.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Wallace Justice, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
