Felix Ocasio

Felix Ocasio, 83, of Lorain, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
Born October 12, 1933 in Morovis, Puerto Rico, he came to Lorain in 1950.
Felix worked as an assembler for Ford Motor Company at the Lorain assembly plant, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the United Autoworkers Union Local 425 and attended House of Praise International Church, Lorain.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Felicita (nee Plaza); sons, Felix of North Ridgeville and Edwin of Amherst; daughters, Nancy Ocasio and Roxanne Ocasio both of Lorain; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; and 11 brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Rosario (nee Silva) Ocasio.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am at House of Praise International Church, 4321 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Gilbert Silva, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp. To send online condolences go to www.dovinfuneralhome.com.
