Enrique R. Davila

Enrique "Rique" R. Davila, age 8, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic, following a lengthy illness.
Rique was born on October 25, 2004 in Lorain. He was in the 3rd grade, being home schooled, through Palm Elementary. He was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, where he recently made his First Communion.
Through the Cleveland Clinic Make A Wish Foundation, he recently attended a Cleveland Indians Game in which he enjoyed very much. Rique was ill since birth but never complained, he enjoyed spending time with all of his family. He always wanted to be a Police Officer.
Enrique loved the super hero Batman, in which he planned on being for Halloween this year.
He is survived by his parents, of Lorain; Ramon E. Davila and Lucy E. Soto, a brother, Noel Davila, and a sister, Yuliana Davila, both of the home; paternal grandparents, Ramon and Mama Lydia Davila, Jr., of Sheffield Lake; great paternal grandparents, Ramon and Iris Davila, Sr. of Lorain; maternal grandparents, German and Lydia Soto, of Lorain; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain, where a mass will be conducted on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. William Thaden, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
