Elizabeth L. Torres, (nee Lopez-Rodriguez), 55, of Lorain, died Friday, August 03, 2007 at Cleveland Clinic following lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 20, 1952 in the Bronx, NY; she came to Lorain in 1967 where she has lived since.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel and enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to 50's music.
Surviving is her husband of 36 years, Robert Torres-Gonzales; sons, Robert Torres Jr., of Lorain, Julio Torres, of Lorain, and Joseph Torres of Lorain; daughters, Angelique Evans of Wynantskill, NY, Yvette Torres of Lorain; 8 grandchildren; her mother, Elizabeth Rodriguez of Bronx, NY; brothers, Jorge Rodriguez of Bronx, NY, and Robert Rodriguez of Bronx, NY; sisters, Annie Rodriguez of Bronx, NY, and Michelle Rodriguez-Pacheco of Bronx, NY.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jorge Rodriguez,
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday at 8:45 a.m. in the funeral home followed by mass at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel. Rev. Fr. William Thaden, will officiate.
