Dorothy J. Lahner (nee Dlugosz) 83, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
Born August 6, 1933 in Amherst, she lived in Lorain for most of her life.
Dorothy was a member of the former St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Lorain, and attended St. Theresa of Avila Parish, Sheffield Village. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
Surviving are her daughters, Kathy (Rick) Migra of Nenana, Alaska, Deborah (James) Cibroski of Amherst Twp., Donna (Ralph) Schneider of Sun City, Arizona, Jackie (Tim) Wagner of Berlin Heights; a son, Donald (Donna) Lahner of Kenton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1987; a daughter, Karen Sue in 1958; her parents, Peter and Mary (nee Fechik) Dlugosz; and a brothers, Michael Dlugosz.
